Private Coaching

Math Zoom Academy is dedicated to providing the best extra-curricular math program for each individual student. For students who are not able to find the most suitable class in our regularly scheduled classes, one-on-one coaching could be arranged for your students to get personalized instruction and meet your own specific needs.

We offer private coaching sessions to students of all levels. Some of the students are very top students that request private coaching to fill in their specific weak areas or prepare for a specific test. We do accept students who are struggling with math. The private coaching would help diagnose the real issues that make them struggle. There is certainly difference between people’s brains. However, math as part of the foundational education, should be accessible to great majority of the population. At Math Zoom, we firmly believe that every child has a good chance to master math to their age level with proper coaching or teaching. A mom or a school teacher who hates math could easily affect how a child looks at math. Every child deserves the opportunity to get the exposure to what math is really about.

During private coaching sessions, we generate customized materials for each student in order to fill the gaps in the foundation. Building a strong math foundation allows students to become confident in their abilities, and even become enthusiastic about math.  Building a solid foundation requires a systematic approach with ongoing practice. Math Zoom instructors help students understand math at a deeper and conceptual level, help them discover the true and natural links between numbers, and show them how to apply the math concepts into real life situations. At Math Zoom, math becomes live and fun! Our goal is to keep students motivated, encouraged and engaged!
