Assessment Test

If you are automatically qualified for Math Zoom Summer Camp, you do not need to submit the assessment test. Please submit your application form, application fee and tuition. See the How to Apply page for criteria for automatic qualification.

If you are not eligible for automatic qualification, the assessment test is part of the application for the Math Zoom Summer Camp. Your solutions must be submitted via Email, Fax, or regular mail.

The Assessment Test is for students who are inexperienced with math contests or problem solving techniques, in general. The main purpose of the assessment test is to assess your skills and knowledge level, so that you can be assigned to the appropriate group. Therefore, do not be discouraged if you can't solve some or most of the problems. Include all of your important steps for each solution. Partial credit is given to partial solutions. If you have more experience in math contests, you may feel these problems are easy. In that case, please just answer all the questions, and we will have more challenging problems for you at the Camp!

Your solutions can be sent via regular mail, fax, or email. The mailing address is:

Math Zoom Summer Camp
4850 Barranca Pkwy, Suite 203

FAX number: (714) 784-7838
Email address: mathcamp@mathzoom.org

To submit solutions by Email, scan the cover page and answer sheets into one single WORD file or PDF file, and attach the file in the email. REMEMBER to put your name on every page of your solution.
